Nissan is recalling some of the 2010 and 2011 the Sentra models for the little car battery-related problems, the second time since the November 2010 it has been recalled to the car battery.
The latest recall involves Sentras built on 11-May 22, 2010 and July 25 8-October, 2010. Zinc coating on the bolt that holds the battery cables are too thick and can reduce the voltage, resulting in the start and damage the engine control module, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
As a result, the engine could stall and become difficult or impossible to restart, increase the risk of accidents, NHTSA said.
